The growing use and benefits of Electromagnetic Therapy

The need for alternate health treatment in cases of diseases and pain has always been there and growing as people are growing more health conscious and reducing their need to consume antibiotics and other prescription drugs which tend to have side effects and slow the reflexes of a person. Electromagnetic therapy is used to treat wide number of diseases such as chronic pains, headaches, back pains, spinal cord displacement, arthritis, ulcers, heart diseases and asthma.

How electromagnetic therapy works?

Tough there is little scientific evidence supporting the electromagnetic therapy but people who practice this alternate treatment say the therapy is helpful in cell growth, improving bone function and blood circulation, reducing aching pain and healing the wounds more quickly. There are numerous electrical devices which are used in electromagnetic therapy. Therapy can be given with help of radio waves, making magnetic fields and with low voltage electricity.                 Electromagnetic therapy is also called magnetic healing and bioelectricity. The practitioners of electromagnetic therapy make a magnetic field outside the body of the patient. The magnets are used as

  • To drive an electrical impulse to the pain affected area
  • Delivering constant static electricity to treat the affected area for longer duration of time

The therapy session last for 25 to 50 minutes. People suffering from ailment and injury are advised to attend therapy session everyday while people with chronic pains are required to receive the electromagnetic treatment at least twice each week.

The person may feel slight tingling sensation when electromagnetic therapy is being done. People may feel little bit of numbness and irritation but this lasts for few days only, on the whole there are no known side effects of electromagnetic therapy and people have expressed satisfaction and relieve in pain after getting the electromagnetic therapy.
